Enrichment Program
Academic enrichment with real science labs, robotics, coding, engineering, and project-based learning for families and scholars across McDonough and Henry County.
Learning that goes beyond the textbook.
The Enrichment Program gives scholars hands-on STEM experiences, project-based learning, creativity, and community beyond the core academic day. Families may enroll for Monday PBL, Friday STEAM, or both.
STEM, Robotics, Coding, and Project-Based Learning
Our enrichment options are designed for scholars who need more hands-on learning, social connection, creativity, and real-world STEM experiences.

Real science.
Real specimens.
At Young Laureates we don't do worksheets about science, we do science. Scholars work with real lab materials, real specimens, and real tools. From hands-on exploration to brain anatomy, dissections to chemistry experiments, this is STEM enrichment that feels real because it is real.
Guides lead each lab with clear instruction and safety protocols. Scholars observe, record, analyze, and present their findings. Building real scientific habits from an early age.
- Chemistry and biology experiments
- Lab safety, tools, and scientific method
- Observation, recording, and analysis
Build it.
Present it. Own it.
Monday sessions focus on Finance, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship in a collaborative group setting where scholars learn to work as a community.
These sessions are centered on real-world application, building independence, responsibility, and practical skills that extend beyond the classroom.
- Financial literacy and money management
- Entrepreneurship and business thinking
- Life skills for everyday success
- Collaboration and community-centered learning
Competitive robotics.
Real engineering.

C.I.R.C.U.I.T (Creating Innovative Robotics Challenges Under Intentional Technology) is Young Laureates' competitive robotics team. Scholars who participate in the Enrichment Program are eligible to join the team, build engineering skills, code autonomous robots, and compete in FIRST LEGO League (FLL) regional competitions.
Team members build and program autonomous robots, develop an innovation project, and present their work to judges, learning to collaborate, lead, and problem-solve under pressure. Our team has earned regional recognition and continues to grow each season.
Enrichment Program participation is required to join C.I.R.C.U.I.T. Team selection takes place each fall.
K-2 Foundations
A Monday and Wednesday program designed specifically for our youngest scholars in Kindergarten through Grade 2. K-2 Foundations meets weekly from 9AM to 3PM and focuses on early literacy, numeracy, hands-on discovery, and building the foundational habits scholars need to thrive.
Led in a warm, nurturing small-group environment where young learners feel safe to explore, ask questions, and build confidence. Enrollment is available separately from the full enrichment program.
