Our program runs from late July to the end of the season. We're committed to providing a comprehensive and enriching experience for our young participants.
What does C.I.R.C.U.I.T stand for?
Our team’s name, C.I.R.C.U.I.T, stands for 'Cultivating Intellectual Resilience and Creativity Using Innovative Technologies.' This mouthful of an acronym reflects our commitment to helping students develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills through hands-on robotics activities. By using innovative technologies, students learn to overcome challenges and find creative solutions.
Our C.I.R.C.U.I.T Robotics FLL Team:
What do they do?
F.L.L. Challenge
Real-World Problem-Solving: Each year, we participate in the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge, tackling a new real-world scientific or technological problem.
Robot Design and Programming: We design, build, and program robots to complete missions related to the season's theme.
Developing STEAM Skills
Hands-On Learning: Our program provides a fun and engaging way to learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).
Essential Skills: Students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Becoming Innovators
Research and Development: We research the annual FLL theme and develop innovative solutions to the presented challenges.
Showcase Ideas: Students present their ideas and solutions to judges at the FLL competitions.
Embracing Core Values
Teamwork and Collaboration: We foster a supportive and collaborative environment where students work together to achieve their goals.
Respect and Discovery: We encourage students to respect their teammates and discover new ideas through exploration and experimentation.
Sponsoring C.I.R.C.U.I.T Robotics is your opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young innovators while gaining visibility in the vibrant STEM community. Our team, composed of talented and driven students aged 8–14, recently celebrated a remarkable achievement—placing 1st in Robot Performance at the 2024–25 Regionals, an impressive milestone in our inaugural season!
Your sponsorship supports our mission to inspire, educate, and empower future leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. By partnering with us, you’ll help provide resources for competitions that attract over 500 participants, foster diversity in STEM, and ensure our team thrives in their exciting journey.
Interesting in joining our 2025-26 C.I.R.C.U.I.T Robotics FIRST LEGO League Challenge Team!
We aim to have two teams of 7-8 passionate students. Spaces fill up fast, so contact us today to learn more and secure your spot!
While our FLL team is for ages 8 - 14, our robotics and coding lab is open weekly and available to ages 7+
What to Expect?
This is a self-directed learning lab, not a formal class. Students explore coding and robotics through hands-on tools, guided resources, and creative freedom. The space is facilitated by staff and designed for discovery and independent learning.
Students will have access to:
LEGO® Spike Essentials to build basic robotics and coding skills
Self-guided coding games and digital challenges using laptops and tablets
Minecraft Education, VEX Robotics kits, and music production tools
A fully equipped FIRST LEGO League (FLL) table for open practice and experimentation
Key Benefits:
Learn at Your Own Pace: Children follow their interests and choose their activities
Explore Real Tools: Engage with the same platforms used in competitive robotics and coding teams
Mentor Moments: C.I.R.C.U.I.T. Robotics Team members may drop in to demonstrate or assist
Develop Core Skills: Creativity, logical thinking, and confidence in a relaxed, engaging setting
FLL Readiness: Ideal for students who may want to join a future robotics team
