Mindfulness and Movement
Join us for a monthly mindfulness and movement class facilitated by Coach Dee and Coach Melo from Grounded Girls and BlissBoys. This engaging program takes place on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
During our sessions, children will explore various mindfulness techniques and movement activities, including:
Expressive Movement: Using mats as a canvas, children will express their emotions and understanding of boundaries through movement, responding to prompts and questions from the coaches.
Body Awareness in Motion: Guided meditations and mindful movement practices promote relaxation, self-awareness, and a connection between mind and body.
Building Self-Awareness: Interactive exercises and crafts to help children identify their feelings and develop strategies to manage them effectively.
Beyond relaxation, this class fosters a foundation for social-emotional learning. Children engage in self-regulation, focus, positive social interaction, and healthy body awareness within a fun and engaging environment.
By participating in this program, your child could learn practical mindfulness tools that they can use in their everyday lives. These tools can be used to help them manage stress, improve focus, and develop a greater sense of well-being.
